Gonzalo Haguain scored a superb hattrick to win the game for the Argentina, he started out with a header in the first half which was followed by a Tap in goal in the second half. Maradona put faith in Higuain and he duly fulfill made it pay as he got his first ever hattrick in Argentina colours.

In one of the biggest shocks of the world cup so far, Switzerland defeated mighty Spain in the Group H game. It was a dull affair in the first half as Spain very surprisingly looked jadded and could not impose themself on the game, although they had total control over the possesion in the first half but Fernandes scored a breakaway goal in the 2nd half which made Spain rattled and they could not get back on level terms.

both teams hit the crossbars and Switzerland gave a good account of themself in the very hard fought game. Now Spain must win the remaining two games to stand any chance of going through to the next Round.

Brazil struggled to get a goal in the first half of the match, they controled the game but could not break the resliant defence of North Korea. It took a special goal from Right Back Maicon to get the lead in the second half of the match. he scored in the near post when keeper was expecting a cross. But he managed to score by sneaking past the keeper at his near post to give his team the lead.
Elano doubled the lead soon after but a late cancelation goal from Korea made the game exciting at the end. I have to say that it was a Good performence by North Korea.

Holland vs Denmark (2-0) HIGHLIGHTS | GROUP E | WC 2010

Dutch will be kicking off their World Cup Campaign against the Danish Side in the Group E match of the Fifa World Cup. So far non of the teams were able to Score freely but having said that Holland are famouse for their free flowing football, and their deadly counter attacks which were seen in the Euro 2008 are something to look look forward to. England 1-1 USA Highlights Video | Group C Match

Steven Gerrard opened the scoring for the three lions in the first three minutes of the kickoff, which was badly needed for England to control the nervous. It was beautifu set up pass by Heskey who laid it off for in coming Gerrard who takes the first touch and slotted past tim Howard with outside of his boot. After going 1-0 up England should have control the game but it was not the case as USA players troubled England dfence more often that Cappelo would have liked.

And thier pressure finaly paid off as Clint Dempsey's left footed shot which was a weak one sneaked past Green who actually made a mess of the shot and could not handle a straight shot as it creeped in. Watch Highlights from the match here.

Argentina 1-0 Nigeria Highlights | Group B | 2010 WC

Gabriel Heinze scored a very early goal to give Argentina the lead against Nigeria, He scored from set piece when a corner was whipped in and he was unmarked in front of the goal and he glanced a super header in top of the corenr. It was all Argentina after that as they created chance after chance, Messi could have a had a hatrick but was denied by the Nigerian keeper on several occassions, with super saves.

In the second Half things did not improve for Nigeria but they hang on to just one goal deficit, which always had a hope for them in the match. Maradona side was bit rusty in front of the goal.

On the Other Hand South Koreans are a very compact team, their main power is the energy they put in the match, theur counter attack techniques are way impressive in big tournament and with threir big name players playing for good european teams will surely assist them in the World Cup.

MotoGP ITALY Mugello 2010 LIVE STREAM | Highlights
